Just because Nortel got $4.5 B does not mean that IDCC will get the same even if our patents are better. If you need to hold your pants up and a belt comes up for sale you'll play a lot if you need to keep your pants up.

If a pair of suspenders now becomes available, it may be worth little, unltess you're ultra cautious.

So the question is, what does IDCC have that Nortel or MMI did not and do the companies that bought Nortel and does Google need for for defense or offense.

I don't know the answer, but I think this must be part of their thinking.
