Dr. Nick

That does not seem to be a standards body, but an industry comsortium dealing with HIppa regulations. I am inherently distrustful of pharmacetical groups APPEARRING to make movement towards meaning coming requirements.

To the extent that they are serious, I think your post alerting Wave about their existence and need is a good thing.

I do remember that the telephone was invented by two people at almost the same time. The fact that the pharmacy industry has its own attempt at security as a collective just goes along with the EAP cross industry initiatives.

The fact is that EVERYBODY is looking for the right model of security now that ecommerce is trying to reach new levels of significance. Identity, Webservices, the courts suprising???? decision today on responsibility for IP bits.

I stay invested in Wave because they have a solid approach to a solution. Will it happen their way?

I've always been optimistic. Never been certain. My reaction to the pharmacy group is optimism. They are working on a solution that will be improved by TPM implementation. Any industry group that wants to improve security will do so with TPMs.
