This is my solution and the only one I see that can both combat greed and corruption and at the same time save the Republic.
The ONE thing that separates this country from the other countries of the past and present is the Constitution of the United States of America. It is the one thing that stands between freedom and slavery. It is the one thing that stands between the rule of greed and corruption and the rule of law.
It gives us the purpose, limitations and organization of our Government which is devided into three balanced branches. It gives citizens the protection from Government that is necessary. We have the Bill of Rights to protect us from Government. The reason we must have protection from Government and definite limits on Government is because absolute power corrupts absolutely.
The answer to the problems of our society and saveing the Republic is to elect candidates who truely support and adhere to the Constitution.

Those in Congress take an oath:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.

Those who break this oath must be replaced by those who will keep it. We must populate the White House and Congress with strong Constitutionalist.

Benjamin Franklin was ask by a woman, "Sir, what have you given us?"
He replied, "A Republic, if you can keep it."

Much of it has been lost already. To save what is left of the Republic and repair the damage to what we were delivered, we must elect strong Constitutionalists.
The Democrat Liberals are not. The Establishment Republicans are not. The Tea Party is. In my opinion the Tea Party must take over the Republican Party and move the country back to the Constitution. Period.
The Tea Party is "We the People". Do not count them out.
They have been lied about, maligned, besmirched and discounted but they are the only hope for the Republic. The left hates them, the Institutional Republicans make fun of them, but they are the only hope we have. They are us.
