Groveton Mill May Get A New Life
By Chris Jensen on Thursday, October 13, 2011

The former Wausau paper mill in Groveton in the North Country closed at the end of 2007. But it may be getting a new, green life. NHPR’s Chris Jensen reports.
A North Country company wants to buy the old Wausau paper mill which closed almost four years ago and give it a new and very different life.
“The facility will be a green technology, manufacturing, research and education center.”
That’s the future envisioned by Wayne King, the CEO of MOP Environmental Solutions of Bath.
King has a tentative deal to buy the plant. He hopes to close no later than the middle of December.
To start he says he’ll use the facility to manufacture his oil-spill pickup product.
But he sees a long-range, multi-phase project.
It includes attracting green businesses such as contained-environment agriculture, advanced recycling, manufacturing insulation and biofuels.
King’s concept is consistent with the recommendations of a study conducted for the North Country Council, the regional planning group.

There is no mention of CD at all and the way it is written is like Wayne did the whole paper mill deal.

Also the part where it say "his oil-spill pickup product" meaning Wayne's product? I thought it was Charlie's invetion.

And at the bottom it says "King's Concept" I thought this was CDs baby?

A little weird to say the least.

Something is out of whack here but I will not comment on it now.

CD RIP
