If the company owes PM alot of money, he will not want the company to 'go down' as a scam, imo: therefore, it is my supposition that he is now doing everything he can to bring the company out of 'scam status' before he is sentenced in a couple of weeks. In other words, after all is said and done, the company 'WILL SURVIVE' as a viable, competitive entity.
