I completely agree with you and I appreciate your concern. I understand ATM, ITM and OTM, intrinsic and extrinsic value, as well as volatility and time decay. The Greeks are what I'm a little fuzzy on. But I'm comfortable enough to make a $100 deep OTM "lotto play" on a stock that I feel is due a pullback based on Technical Analysis. But I'll definitely take your advice and learn the Greeks before I try to start coming up with strategies, give advice, or profess to be an Option Trader.
