Do you have a clue how much interest money they have saved from not settling, and then settle at the last minute. Money is money, and they want it no matter what it takes, and the delay is a money maker, if they pretty well know what they can settle for. I assure you the attornies and expenses is far less than the interest they are making on the IDCC money owed. They are smart enough to know you can only go so far, and then that money can be very costly and the risk is no where near worth the reward.
O.J. said even he couldn't get away with this, and that Johnny Cochran would reject the Ericsson case, as he only takes sure things.
