GFCI: From stockpeeker "Given the PR by Global before the buyout, the former head of Global and Jim Dial may not trust each other or get along well enough after the buyout, so that may put GFCI performance at risk, that is, if Global head stays around."As far as I know, Global has never put out a PR about their deal with Grifco. You may be thinking of the two PRs put out by Lyamec Corp, regarding the deal/

W,J Barnhill is the founder and only owner ogf Global Oil Tools.

The Lyamec PR of /06/03/05 has caused a lot os confusion. On the same date Gtifco's hired IR mouth piece, Princeton Research issued a PR titled "Grifco FAQs". later the same morning Lyamec issued the hit piece PR. When I logged onto Amritrade that morning both PRs were listed. When I clicked on the FAQs I got this message. "Not AVailble. May have been retracted by originator".

Based on reading Lyamec's 3 PRs on the subject and other information I have this isw hat I think happened. Lyamec is a n American company that has developed strong ties with the Libyan government. They represent a wide range o of businesses moving into Libya. At some point Global and Lyamec became associated in getting Global into Libya. Grifco / global got together after the Libya connection.

This next part is pure speculation. I think that the retracted FAQ PR had some reference in it that Lead Lyamec to think that Grifco /Global were proceeding without Lyamec. Lyamec complained and Grifco pulled the FAQs. Lyamec then came out with their wild attack on Grifco and Jim Dial. That afternoon the news service that issued Lyamec's PR issued one of their own, in words to the effect of " Due to misleading and potentially liabalous statements, Lyamecs' PR of earlier today has been retracted.. On 06/06 the "Kiss & Make up" PR came out.

I have enver seen it implied, in any published statement, that Jim Dial and W'J Barnhill have ever had a conflict. Anyone interested in this topic should read Lyamec's two referenced PRs.
