I think that where investigating penny scams is concerned, they ARE newbies. They're doing some of the right things: going for documents, digging back into the past. They acknowledge that Stellar's drilling results weren't... stellar.

They aren't simply dismissing critics of the company as "bashers"; they appear to admit that there are problems with the accounting, stock issuance, and so on.

Maybe they'll do the Right Thing in the end. They do note that some people have asked them to look at other companies. One of those companies was EXTO. They said they couldn't find anything to like.

Now if only they'd learn to spell "sordid" properly...
