I really appreciate your efforts. I remember when E let IMM down in 1993-1994. Back in the days of Dave Smith and Bill Erdmann ( who has since passed away). The deal was rumored to be $100,000,000. We were all excited. I find it encouraging that these discussions began in 1988.

PS I believe E was talked out of licensing by other industry leaders at the time in the hopes that IMM would go bankrupt, which it very nearly did. The majors were threatened by IMM's claims to such fundmental inventions which they were all using and IMM was not in the club. It feels like dejavu all over again.
