My thoughts on "What's going on."

I will post some MARKET TA IDCC this weekend.....In reading portions of the boards and observing our recent trading activity ...these thoughts come to mind...

[] "We are plagued with a somewhat schizophrenic market ......causing
sometimes volatile mood swings that at times EFFECT ALL THAT ARE AROUND IT "

We have a little of our own Schizophrenia going on here... Bearish longs ... how is that for an oxymoron. The closer we come to Judgment Day the more many will review the decisions they have made. It is like anything in life ... uncertainty....leaves room for fear and doubt. As Judgment Day descends upon us ... the crowds grow larger and become louder, moods become more intense, rhetoric becomes more stressed, reactions heightened, the heat of the moment can sometimes create great discomfort.
Is our truth...truth? Is the outcome so clear?
For some IT IS a question of comfort.**

[] "No doubt all sorts of strategies are being implemented that are effecting IDCC
....... in reading the board and from email and calls that I have received in the last few days ...there are LONGS AS WELL AS TRADERS and SHORTS who are firming up there strategies and positions ...."
" In preparation for the IDCC VS ERICY WORLD SERIES"

For some IT IS a question of comfort** ... some may lighten up because the lack of certainty has left them fearing the worst while hoping for the best. Others are implementing strategies utilizing puts and calls. This scene has been played out many times with many stocks.....for some IDCC soldiered longs ... thoughts of bygone Motorola days maybe causing minor attacks from emotional allergies caused by a past truth gone bad. Whatever the case ......nothing has changed today that wasn't true yesterday regarding IDCC Vs ERICY. They higher the rewards often the greater the risks. That's just the way it goes. When the game is over we can't turn the clock back and change our minds. So what you are seeing is nothing more or less then people preparing for the WORLD SERIES.

For me personally, I recognize the risks involved,,,,and while anything can happen I don't anticipate the worst or the best.
If I get the best that's a bonus if I get the worst I will have some major carry forward losses and have to work a little longer and a lot harder.
I expect that justice will be served....not necessarily to MY liking...... OR Mickeys but at the end of the day the truth will serve us well in the short, intermediate, and long term. We will see a must profound increase in revenue, profits and share price in 2003 and greater in 2004 . That will be true regardless of the SERIES. That is what I have my eye on.....I picked up some shares today and feel very good about that buy.....
A win at the games will just make the prize bigger and better.

[] "When the games begin ... and the crowds are in the stadium, volume of the crowds will turn up....we could see more volatility ....
Please remember volatility goes UP as well as down "

[]While I use technical analysis to help me maintain some short term objectivity It does not effect my long term outlook. Fundamentals effect my long term outlook and strategy. At this moment we are experiencing some short term weakness..... the duration of this IMHO will be short lived ... AND affords another buying opportunity for new investors and longs wishing to add to average up or down before the big game ...

Look at this post in 90 days [ or less]....look at the price now ... and then.
The story will be told.

In the days ahead ..........the crowd will get louder...

As always your comments are appreciated. Alley
