Excerpt:
Investors should look at the particular company in question, try to determine the reason behind the reverse split, and then decide whether it is an act of desperation or an act made with a good faith expectation of attracting more investors. If a company has realistic prospects of an improvement in revenues and its financial condition, then a reverse split in conjunction with those improvements can be a powerful tool to draw in additional investors. If the company has no realistic prospects for improving its financial condition, a reverse split is not going to change that and the share price is going to continue its previous pattern.

I found this to be a great read and it helped to put some of my "RS woes" into prospective.

I really cannot imagine them having a shareholder meeting unless they are optimistic about the near future. Not to mention, the meeting is at the University of Oklahoma Campus...what better place to deliver good news than on your home turf! Hopefully, we will get a prototype update soon that will give investors a leap of faith that the looming RS, if needed, is not "an act of desperation," but a positive integral part of the plan being implemented by a proven & successful management team.
