On the other hand, there are those of us who are 100% ceretain that JBII will generate greater throughput because of the addition of a pre-melt step.

I do not think it is rational to contend that increased throughput is mere message board hype. Furthermore, as a matter of logical reasoning, it is totally irrelevant whether a person enunciated that particular thought. Whether or not it was stated or claimed has nothing to do with whether or not such a step will generate efficiencies, such as greater throughput.

The matter of whether or not greater throughput is the byproduct of greater efficiency is not determined by whether the words came from this or that person, or, for that matter, from any person.

If it is true that pre-melt is an efficiancy step, then whether or not JB said anything is not material.

So the question is not whether a claim in this regard was ever made. What matters is:
1.) Will a pre-melt step actually be employed?

Thats all that is relevant. Will it be or won't it be. If it is to become a part of the process, then, by its very nature it will add an efficiency to the process that previously did not exist.

Given the visual picture that we had posted that shows, via a grid of the effects of parallel processing, it stands to reason that the mere fact that pre-melt allows parallelism will, in and of itself results in greater output, regardless of who said what and when.

Hope that helps.
