I think it is because the truth sometimes is hard to figure out and we have to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, EVEN if all signs point to guilty. Just think about years ago, wherein, the fingers got pointed a lot quicker and people got killed, well, a lot quicker. At least today, less innocent people are killed for no reason....

Let's face it, life is sersiously complicated and we in a way made it this way. The powerful people want to keep it. Look at the civil war, that was a pretty good example of how human rights were ignored for profits, just that now, it is done underhandedly, behind our backs or without our knowing about it. Awareness is key but the problem lies in many outlets such as the media that can make us second guess the truths or those with money pushing an agenda. It is all f-ed up....

Anyway, I am done ranting...

IMO, and i have been saying this for quite some time now, the First Settlers (AKA, the Native Americans), aside from their wars, had the best way of living.
