Philo - I think they set the stage for a disappointing CES yesterday with a PR that stated nothing more than "keep waiting for the O-1000", that coupled with no mention of an OEM for it and 2 other PR's that are nothing but fluff, and we are batting 0-3 thus far. Can't say this Portalplayer announcement is anything more than a rehash of what we already knew. To expect the price to move with this bunch of BS we've gotten thus far is expecting alot, the price action is exactly what you would expect with whats been offered thus far. Here is a line from the SonicBlue PR this morning that shows one reason why they've gone from $0.45 monday to $0.70 today and riseing:

"Other companies show slides and discuss the possibilities of what they believe connected entertainment could look like in the future," said Gregory Ballard, CEO, SONICblue. "We are showing products that consumers can take home today as well as in the future, plug into their network, and, in minutes, experience the reality of truly connected entertainment."

Notice the emphasis on "take home today", in other words they aren't talking, they are delivering!!!
