Good morning, Ken.......

I agree. Investors should stay away from questionable market participants and make attempts to correct the system and report violations. But having done this stuff since 1988, I have seen the SEC and anyone else be condoning in these market operations. Most of the companies appear to have enough correct response on their behalf to negate complaint from investors and carry on after investigations.

I have repeatedly asked myself why does our government allow this conduct in the markets. The only answer I can muster is that an ocassional Microsoft will reveal itself from this maheim. Companies like Kmart, XO and Washington Mutual have gone BB and pink to rise from their demise using the same regulations we sometimes curse as investors.

I suppose an opinion can rise that why should a system be destroyed that allows the potential large organization refund itself and receive a second and third chance when it only affects a few thousand investors. The accounting of a heavy-half argument must surface and become attractive (and lucrative) for that premise. As investors/traders we assume risk and by incorporating our will toward bb's and pinks that risk is elevated. All this can be exposed and warned in one coverall statement we often see and hear: Buyer beware.

My guess is we are looked at as risk takers who "play" in financial markets and from time to time strike a loss that can or cannot promote the continuation of potential equity in the economy and employment for Americans.

If we are going to have sex when investing, it should be safe sex. Until then, we should stick together and try sharing our knowledge among ourselves.

....just an opinion
