Sounds like they've been wanting more control for some time. Like the ability to request a halt when they see something "fishy" (in their eyes).

I called the Chairman and left a message. No return yet.

Here is an email from today from Pink Sheets when I asked if they were concerned about the outcome of the GVRP case. They really didn't answer what I was hoping to get answered. I wanted someone on "our" side:

The security will not be
quoted again on the Pink Sheets unless a market maker files a Form 211 with
the NASD and the NASD clears it, which is not likely to happen any time
soon. A market maker may try to quote the security on the Pink Sheets on an
unsolicited basis, however, the CEO of Pink Sheets is likely to disallow
that. If neither of these situations occurs, the stock will be in the "gray
market" meaning that it can be traded, but no bid and ask quotes will be
published. Pink Sheets is not involved if that is the case, except to
display last sale and volume statistics on our website; which is exactly the
same information you will find on nasdaq.com, yahoo.com, etc.
