Agree entirely! ProElite is big on Big D’s little brain! LOL!

Let's talk about the UFC and specifically Dana White's record in as he says how the UFC operates "What do you do is you put the best fighters in the world against the best fighters in the world" and he interestingly enough he points out the many questions people had about Brock Lesnar so let’s talk about Brock, the UFC and the Best Fighters in the world as well as some of the fighters he mentions specifically.

Dana White “Let’s talk about Brock Lesnar, okay? The guy comes in with one fight… then he fights Frank Mir, former world champion Frank Mir. He fights Heath Herring, he fights Randy Couture, he fights Cain Velasquez. I mean, look at the guys that he’s fought in his short career. And people want to, you know, talk shit about Brock and laugh. At least Brock has fought real guys and came in and fought the best in the world.”

Brock came into the UFC as an MMA fighter with only 1 fight under his belt and fought a former UFC Champion in Frank Mir only to lose 1:30 of the first round.

In his second fight Brock fights Heath Herring although a colorful character and capable fighter is considered a mid-level fighter with his previous 4 fights in and with UFC all going to decision and the Record of the time of 2 Wins and 2 Losses in the UFC at that point.

In Brock’s third MMA fight he is given a Title Shot with a 3 - 1 Record!

Did Dana consider Brock “The Best in the world”.

But don’t think that Dana did not put any thought into this fight, lets take a “Professional WWE Wrestler” for market value and bring in somebody who hasn’t’ fought in the last year and half and make it the Main Event.

So at the age of 31 the 280 lb Lesnar fought and an aging 46 year old, very light 205Lb Randy Couture who had not fought for the last year and half as well as only had a total of 3 fights since 2006 going into the fight!

Aside from the great 15 year age difference Brock had an immense speed and size advantage over Randy with size alone somewhere in about 50lb and probably closer to 65lbs separating them at fight time.

So you can bet Dana knew this was Win Win for the UFC, with a fight that Brock could Win!

If and when he Win's use Brock’s popularity from the WWE to hype that and future Events within the UFC as well as destroy Randy Couture’s value realizing that Randy had been in a Contract dispute just previous hence why he was unable fight for the year and half previous. This would also give the UFC a distinct advantage at Contract negation time with Randy and the buying public.

In his last fight with Cain Velasquez, Brock was easily dispensed and destroyed at 4:12 mark of the 1st Round.

Brock had taken down Velasquez twice with only one even making to the mat and both easily defended and Brock spent rest being the largest portion of the fight literally running from Velasquez with other attempts to rolling away from him while being attacked.

As for his work ( My guess he was giving lessons in Break Dancing! LOL! ) Brock earned top dollar from Dana for that embarrassing fiasco with a $ 450,000 paycheck translating into $ 107,042 per minute or $ 1,765.71 per second for losing on a World Wide PPV Main Event Card under the UFC and he has not fought since.

Brock's record in total now sits at very poor 5 - 2 in MMA and in the UFC alone sits at extremely poor 4 - 2 by my math! Brock lost a fight for every 2 fights he won in UFC. But way to go Dana in putting the best fighters in the world against the best fighters in the world.

As for Dana’s other Comment on booking Fedor: “It’s like having your promotion carried by Kimbo Slice”.

We all know where he was going with this comment but interesting enough I have one comment for Dana!

No it’s actually like have Kimbo Slice booked to carry the UFC’s Ultimate Fighter Season 10 “largely built around the internet sensation Kimbo Slice.” after you said the guy can’t fight, having him bring in the Highest Ratings in the History of the Show.

These Ratings were over twice of that of 8 of the 9 previous seasons and over 150% of the next highest season being Season 3 that happened to be 7 seasons before.

It also interesting to note that it is almost twice any Season since that one including the one with Brock Lesnar who’s Season 13 was tied or beat by no less than 7 other Seasons including Kimbo’s Season 10.

Let talk about Dana’s another comment and clam which I have heard him make numerous times that as Dana’s says “The guys like I always said that fight in this organization and fight the best in the world three times a year, deserve those accolades”

I have heard him talk about Anderson Silva as his prime example and so lets talk about the facts.

Anderson Silva has fought a total 5 times in 3 years with only 1 fight in 2011 so far, only 2 fights in each of the years 2009 and 2010.

So much for fighting 3 times a year!

It’s also a good way to ensure your Champion stays Champion!

Anderson would have to fight 4 more times this year alone just to meet Dana’s claim and defend the Championship in all of those 4 remaining bouts or you can do what Dana does and just not have him fight. He will go on to say how many years Anderson has fought in the UFC and not lost but I wonder why?

Great talk by Dana but he can he back any of it up! I think not as it is what its and just that just talk.

But people are getting tired of it.

It’s all good though for ProElite! I think the public is looking for an experienced Promotion with New look and a great history overall to come to the table and I am sure they will find what they are looking for very soon if they have not already with a start time for the general public being Aug 27 / 2011 in Hawaii!
