SEBASS...When it became apparent that GTE(L) was using private companies as suppliers, it occurred to me that there may be a reason for that strategy, and I suggested that it may be planned to buy out several of them. So far this theory has been pretty accurate as evidenced by the last news of HOT ZONE WIRELESS. It wouldn't surprise me to hear eventually that GTE is buying out IOWA THIN FILM and even KESTRAL, but I think that will only happen if Huff and company feel confident that the technologies of each of the possible future buyouts are best of breed(at least as far as their application to the Stratellites). This also leads to the possibility that GTE will become a "Conglomerate" as I speculated a few months ago as well. One other possibility is that each of these distinct business entities could at some future date be spun off to become publicly traded companies in their own right(s). It appears that maybe, just maybe, Huff has a MACRO VISION for GTE that surpasses even most investors concept of the future of GTE. Just a thought!
