North and Oakes (and DD if you have time)

i like chk, clne, wprt and erx. i have also played short term highs hedging with ery....have done well on all of them with 40-80% returns. I like clean energy and westport b/c the trucking industry consumes 25% of the oil imported into the US. If this industry continues to migrate to natural gas they should continue to do well.

with the short term drop in oil that's beginning over the past week what is the next move? i feel like oil has to go lower. we are finding discovery after discovery right here in the us...between shale gas and oil on our own turf....
when does this start to drop oil for a longer period of time and what's the next move. At what price does oil start to hurt company profits of these larger oil companies. (xom, cop etc...)
A lot of the companies have exposure to both oil and gas. Any thoughts. This is a long term question.

I hope, here in the US, we will begin to rely less as time passes on opec and oil comes down to compete with natural gas.

Trying to figure out moves with recent buying opportunites.

thoughts?
