I set myself up with Ameritrade, this is what they said about GRDO. I will not quote but this is almost verbatim what they told me.

You can trade GRDO today and the trade fees will never be more than $9.95 but there is no guarantee that a stock under .01 can be traded in the future.

And after talking to 5 other TA's, I got from most of them the OPINION that there will come a day that all penny stocks will have to pay the fee and become DTC eligible or they will not be trading.
