I read it from somewhere that the hardshell of the unit would be the same for both single cavity or multi cavity POU unit. (same power consumption too perhaps). The idea of multi cavity is to split the flow stream into smaller pieces, then microwave energy could be adsorbed more efficiently. In other word, it is supposed to be more efficient.
