I just think they would end up having to compete against themselves, if they did. They would be bifurcating the market for the Bioharp, between the home market and medical market. Of course, consumers can't self-diagnose for cancer, while I would question for other conditions, as well.

Nevertheless, your idea of broadening the market did inspire me to consider other markets, such as a medium-priced Bioharp for monitoring athletic training that focused mainly on tissue inflammation.

I just think at a minimum the Bioharp should require certification training, and that is a level and a market above a mass consumerization of the product.
