I've added a new survey and would like as many people as possible to participate in it and discuss it here.

To get to it, click "Other", then "Surveys", then go to Survey 7.

Specifically, the survey is about adding delayed quotes to Investors Hub. They would be displayed as follows:

1. In the "Board" screen for any stock-specific board that has a ticker.
2. Next to any message within such boards.
3. A separate "Search" item you can use to pull up quotes on any ticker.

I would also be able to (eventually) add portfolios if I get the quote data feed.

The survey's purpose is to find out if enough people would be willing to pay extra for the quotes for it to make sense to add them. I wouldn't be able to just include them as a benefit of subscribing, although one would have to be a subscriber (or Grandfathered) to be able to purchase the delayed-quotes option for their account.

So, go take the survey so I can see if enough people will pony up that it'll be worthwhile to pay the fee for the quote feed and let's get some discussion about it going here.

Another way I can use this that I've always liked is to "quote stamp" posts so that when someone writes a post, the last price for the relevant ticker is stored as a snapshot so even a year later, you can see what the stock traded at when that post was written.
