I just got an email from a friend who works at AmEx Financial...

They have been away for 2 weeks on vacation...I emailed em last week about GVRP, and here was their reply..

Holy shit, GVRP has got quite a mess on their hands. In reality, though, it's pretty easy for the brokerage houses to go back and cancel all those trades. It will just take a filtering system to find them. They actually do this kind of stuff all the time.

Guess that'll be the easiest route...
