My visit last Friday with Mr. Robert Simoneau was again as the other meetings very interesting to say the least. He did in fact move to another office building which is quite large. Offices downstairs at the front with a ware house in the rear used for storage, assembly and of course deliveries. Up stairs there are more offices , conference rooms, and a additional assembly testing area. I believe that his company as well as the product water heater are operated out of the same building, there’s enough room for it. We went to the upstairs conference room and there on the table was the prototype. He did sate that all that is necessary for anyone of us to visit him is to make an appointment. His schedule is quite tight so there is a window that he must fit us into. The product not only is real, it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did see the new heat exchanger and he explained the development’s that led to his creating it as well as the basic principles behind it. Of course his invention is patent pending and has been released to the public so there is not a conflict of interest. He did discuss the different outer skins he was considering for the unit but did not tell me which way he was leaning. The hard body of the unit contained the SCMWH, however the MCMWH fits into the same hard body, which the hard body could be reduced somewhat in size, which is not a new design by the way. We discussed UL and the fact that they were excited by the test results they were shown, I was not and did not ask to see. The fact that UL was developing also their own test program as well as the fact that his safety device could also be included into the specifications as was PR’d, for any other companies Microwave Water Heater, should someone else decided to try and build one was discussed. The meeting lasted all day with the exception of lunch and ended around 4pm. Mr. Simoneau said that he was on target and that Design 1st was right there with him nearing the final completion of the MCMWH unit.
I believe we will have the MCMWH in August, working and ready for testing. I am willing to say that I believe it will go to production this year, it will be tested by distributors, it will be demonstrated for the public to see for themselves. I believe we are that close to the end of the beginning, and the beginning of the next stage. Beer was right in that I thought we would by the end of 2010 be where I are speaking of now. But there were two additional patent applications and refined development that made this product that much better, that caused delays that I am comfortable with.
