There are social components to ALL these companies and most companies are scrambling to figure out how to market to the current and future generation via online social mediums. There is little clear distinction between online tech co's and pure social media--ALL must embrace the technology to effectively communicate now and especially in the future. Traditional media is dying, splintered into reduced effectiveness or dead. OK--so is 15 Seconds of Fame a Social Media Co. , a Content management Co. (video) , an Entertainment Co.., or Web based Service Co.---answer---parts of all .
