volume can dry up as long as the price doesnt break that support trend.

usually this is what happens before a breakout, volitilty and volume drop, and then when volume starts to pick up it sparks a run.

So as long as no one panics and starts dumping shares on low volume, this should be good for a run.

If it does break down then yeah yes the 3 area would be the next support.
