At this point it's a solid move in my book! Med supplies is mucho bucks$$$ they have a solid business model, same product at lower the cost. True competitors, they will set the bar IMO. DD the healthcare industry! Major cutbacks, bundling procedures into one billable activity. Numbers are down but hospitals need to grow because patient loads are increasing. Hospitals are hurting for money due to these reasons, in fact just attended a meeting at work about such cutbacks. We are looking for ways to save money yet expand to provide prestige patient care. So when a sales person walks in the door and say, I have 20,000 products that you use daily and can save you $xxx,xxx, what will be the response? FDA approved products, same as the rest of the products used. No Brainer in my book!
