Trying to understand bid, ask, and current price. I bought in last October at 15.9. share, purchased more in January to lower my aveerage to 9.6 a share and today bought more to lower my average to .014 a share. I am fairly new to trading, started last October. Today the price was .0024, the bid was .0026, the ask was .003. I understand the bid and the ask, but do not understand the difference between the bid and the real price, or the reason why the real price drops from close of last day to open of current day. Yesterday, the close was .003, and the open today was .0024 but the ask was .003, why such a large difference? Thanks for the help. Go solar!
