Therapy Cells, ltd. in NZ is in the business of autotransplantation of tendon cells taken from the donor/patient, grown in vitro and re-introduced into an area of tendon injury. This technique has been used in horses only to date (from what I can gather). The company has expressed a desire to gain FDA approval for human use, in the past.

I am hoping to find out what the status is of that plan is.
