This is an event driven stock. Thats why you saw the stock move higher in the April to June time frame. Lots of events then. Lots of buyers. Those that bought higher will now represent overhead and resistance. Its like catching a falling knife now that liquidity has dried up. Many bought expecting momentum to carry forward.
Now events are scarce and so are new buyers
