It appears many of the shorts covered by buying back the stock and closing out their position with the Nortel auction news. Also there weren't as many new shorts and the net net of it is that there are now 1.5 million less shares of IDCC "short", 4.5 million total (about 10% of the reported shares outstanding).

HopJokey, that is a sizeable reduction in the amount of short shares? What gives with that.
