What happens is... [but this is not 100% of the time], if Market Makers know a stock is going to move based on THEIR inside-data, they'll try and clean up things [house keeping], in regards to that particular stock.
Not to make this complicated.... when you see strange activity on your L2 vs Last Sale, take this as a positive sign. No need in figuring it out.
If it's a 10Day Alert, [a good one?], it will have a list of signs too look for too include large disparity, huge 10day with a low last 10days, hasn't been posted on it's home thread for quite sometime if at all, no recent filings, very little if any RECENT chatter on ihub, strange trading activity... all leading to either a Market Maker is trying to get noticed, or, someone really knows something important is in the works.
How can we all tell if a Market Maker is just trying to get noticed?
I'll leave that too all who read this, I can't give everything away, but there are signs, look for them.
