Oh how I would love to have a discourse on government spending... however I will keep this pertaining to TDCP. A positive to the possible uses of the CSpace will be job production: Logic - new tech = new jobs to produce the materials (i.e. doped substrate for the display medium, since it is not currently in mass production there will have to be more jobs to produce it en masse); new jobs to produce the varying electronics for CSpace ( the DLP chips, projectors, hardware, software, imaging etc.); new jobs to produce the recording mediums (3D, multiple lenses, new hardware); new jobs to install the Cspace units; new jobs to advertise Cspace; new jobs for maintenance of the units; new jobs (perhaps) to sell the units. I know I have missed plethora possibilities here, but basically we are looking at job creation in the hundreds, if not thousands when CSpace becomes the industry standard. There may also be jobs created for teachers (kind of like the wind power systems degrees that one can now get - based on a singular technology). Licensing, patenting, government (SEC) regulation, yeah.... a lot of jobs could arise from this technology. Maybe we should all send our applications and resumes to 3D Icon now and get ahead of the rush - we do have investment experience and have researched the technology, that should give us a leg up when they start hiring!
