OH NO!! I yelped victory way too fast. After having fixed it for all of 20 minutes or so I turned on my Iomega peripheral hard drive to do a back up and right away it crashed! ;( Grrrr!

The message when it crashes is as follows:

Collecting data for crash dump.
Beginning dump of physical memory.

I have tried all kinds of options under F8 that seem promising, but nothing works so far.

If I get frustrated enough I will reformat or install Linux and start all over, but I am not even sure that would be a solution as memory problems could affect other OSes?

Somebody please give me a lead I can pursue with hope .... thanks!
