A personal real estate tidbit I think shows how wacky things are.......
Our business space lease is almost up. We use warehouse space, conditioned for electronics manufacturing. (doesn't take much)
After checking around at prices for commercial real estate leases, we've concluded that it's cheaper to buy a piece of acreage nearby with some structures already there,(Home on horse property) and then add to the facility as needed.
It's MUCH cheaper to buy a couple of acres of land and build, just a few miles away, then it is to lease a warehouse space. We told the landlord....he don't care.....he wants more to renew the lease........:o(
I can't believe I'm gonna be buying land at the top........
