one would think a company would be able to smoothly accomplish the required paperwork to ensure the shareholders would be covered..... but I guess not.
Not how it works (AGAIN). I would suggest you sell any position you ever have before any scheduled ticker change, especially if you have a crappy (IMO) broker. GLTY
True believers accumulate over time and at the offer price. Daily ups and downs mean little. Easiest way to relieve emotion is to do your DD, trust the company's intent and buy the stock, not the price. A sound investment will return well in all ranges.
