Regarding the patent valuation, I will take IDCC's management's comments over some of the experts' comments on this board and here is why....

the people who took management's word for the incremental licensing rate regarding the LTE patents on top of 3G patents when they said they are expecting only a small increase (is it because it is small?) are refusing to take the same management's word when they said IDCC's LTE patent portfolio's value is greater than the then estimated Nortel's patents worth of 2 bill.

Now....we all know how valuable Nortel's patents are....so, take your own guess about IDCC's patents and be liberal....we don't know how much was Nortel getting as licensing fee for its LTE patents, but yet it's valuation turned out pretty big. So, I would say that in this patent fight environment...IDCC's patent treasure is very valuable.
