That's funny because Webster defines it as: the increased effectiveness that results when two or more people or businesses work together.

and if the name of a well-known bank like Synovus is predicated on the basis of this word(when added to novus ordo seclorum, which means a "new cycle for the ages") I would say it means something and isn't "flashy but utterly meaningless verbiage"
