I have been watching the comments here too. There has to be more than meets the eye. One thing BORK will have to do is replace the current manufacturing system which is deeply entrenched politically. Wherever those kevlar plants are I am sure there are senators and congressmen trying to maintain the status quo. Not to mention the kevlar lobby. They are gonna fight like crazy to keep the franchise they have.

In this arena sometimes the best product does not get in. Take a look at the Joint Strike Fighter Plane. A multi-billion dollar boondoggle and yet this week GE has committed to still build the engines.

Another thing is that DoD contracts are a very messy and long process. If anything, BORK needs to utilize there DoD friend in Tucson, Raytheon. Who knows maybe Raytheon could start using Kryron in their missiles down the road. Again it takes a long time to get DoD contractor status though.
