Comtex SmarTrend(R)Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) reported that it is joining forces with Virgin America to allow flight passengers to "test-fly" the new Chromebook computers for free. Airline passengers will be allowed to use the computers during their flight and even at select airport gates starting from July 1 through September 30, 2011.

For passengers who borrow the Chromebook, they will receive a free WiFi session onboard Virgin America. Virgin claimed that at airport gates in San Francisco, Chicago O'Hare, Boston and in Dallas-Fort Worth will consist of Google "Chrome Zone" lounges beginning this week. Google also plans on teaming with New York's Ace Hotel to offer Chromebooks in hotel guests' rooms.

In the past, Google has actually collaborated for the past two years to give passengers free in-flight WiFi during the holiday season.

Google has a potential upside of 41% based on a current price of $503.93 and an average consensus analyst price target of $710.34.

In the last five trading sessions, the 50-day MA has fallen 0.62% while the 200-day MA has remained constant.
