No offense, but both of you need some "intervention" when it comes to understanding balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow anaylsis. I am not an accountant, but I am a corporate controller with a lot of experience. It would take me about 30 minutes in a closed room to get you up to speed, but doubt I could do it at all on a chat board. May I suggest you find someone you know locally who has the knowledge and common sense to explain this to you. It would be very useful to you.
