Couldn't agree with you more. My wife and three of my 5 kids are teachers. All have Masters or higher degrees. Their average pay??? It's about 55 thousand a year including health and retirement benefits. That's about 42K in cash, the rest is benefits. They all put more than 50 hours a week into their work and pay a lot of classroom expense out of their pockets. No longer do they get summers off. Most school sysyems require extra classes each year in order to maintain their teaching certificates.

On the other hand, My two other kids and myself with BA's or less, earn on average three times more than the teachers in the family.

Teachers have been screwed by those who want to pick on somebody for too much government spending.

I invest in companies that I think will make me money. And everything I say is just my opinion.
