I'm pretty sure that companies are not allowed to submit reserve measures on their own. I think most companies have to have reserves measured by 3rd party independents…

Charlie can comment, but I think the above is incorrect. The SEC does not require companies to hire an outside consultant to measure reserves, but many companies do because they want to.
