Kaliaphantom: Other option, of course, is S/G getting sick of all the "horseplay" (pun intended) settlement tiddliwink-hopscotching and moving to take this whole thing to trial.

While I'd love for all this to be over sooner than later with my money secured (though justice perverted), I secretly "long" (pun intended again!) for a move to trial, leaving Judge Mary's court and engaging DC court and Judge Colleyer (spell?).

Granted, I don't want to have to wait forever -- but on the other hand, it's the only place where all the dirty laundry would have a chance of being aired, where the scales of justice would be brought in to weigh and measure, and the media blackout would likely have to now bring some lights to shed on the circus.

It's a head-scratcher, to be sure -- as we'd likely see the spectre of Rico and a plethora of other ghouls and ghosties rattling their chains in all their mournful pacing and wailing, but the time involved, and the expense to the EC would be no insignificant factor.
