I read somewhere, where Ken said the heat helps to release the Nicotine and flavor. I've tried without the heat; although there was some flavor, it was not as much as with the heat. I suppose drawing hard would also increase the release the Nicotine. As air passes over the nano bead bed, the solution is transferred to the air, heat excites the beads and makes the transfer more efficient.
