There are two Chinese TPM manufacturers.

- Lenovo/IBM is not only a PC manufacturer but also builds and produces TPMs. And it appears that the Lenovo TPM is only for the Chinese market... !?!
- Sinosun is the other Chinese TPM manufacturer.

Having had time to sleep over all the wide ranging info gathered at the SHM I have come to the conclusion that WAVX is the only "player in town".

Infineon's vertical TPM software integration does not provide a viable solution for the market for scaled deployment. OEMs depend on a common software image across the various different platforms.

WAVX is the only player in the network aspects (server infrastructure). Every PC OEM, without exception, must rely on Wave's server infrastructure for enterprises and service providers to implement the trusted computing paradigm. As we proceed along the deployment road it is a given that PC OEMs will deploy different brands of TPMs across their product line.

It is a logistic nightmare maintaining different drivers and TPM client software.

PC OEMs go the way of least resistance! And it just makes sense!

The dice have been played. Relax! - The game is over! But there is a time lag between engineering decisions and actual deployment. And we're in this period of transition between "decision" and "deployment".
