Way to go cor.

ROTFLMAO.

Why don’t you answer the question? Use your equation.
Access granularity = bandwidth / core frequency.
I gave you both.

From Samsung’s SDRAM data:

Range of operating frequencies, programmable burst length and programmable latencies allow the same device to be useful for a variety of high bandwidth, high performance memory system applications.

- Burst length (1, 2, 4, 8 & Full page)

Here’s the question again.

I have an SDRAM system.
Depending on the application the burst length can be programmed to 1, 2, 4 or 8.
In my application the core speed is 100 MHz and the Bandwidth is 800 MBps.

What is the access granularity of my system? wink

Can’t wait to see your response. I’m always amazed at the twists and turns you can go through to avoid an answer.

Hopefully Cor will give an honest answer.
