The Calm Seas agreement had terms basing the price it paid for shares on a percentage of the lowest closing price in the 5 trading days following notice by KBLB of a withdrawal. Calms Seas felt it had an interest in exerting some degree of control over PR to prevent KBLB from just issuing a bunch of fluff PR just before every withdrawal.

That IMHO fully explains why Calm Seas wanted control over the selection of KBLB's PR man.

If I was in Calm Seas position I would want exactly the same thing, nothing sinister at all about it.
